As the Clock Strikes Upon the Hour: New Year's Eve
New Year's Eve is fabulous for one overall reason --the parties. Whether you hit a lounge, a private party, find yourself screaming your head off /freezeing your buns off in Times Square, or just kick it with your family at home, New Year's Eve is a great time to let the champagne pop loose and the fun be plentiful. However, we're in a recession and expensive club cover charges and high priced drinks are not the best way to protect one's savings account numbers from dwindling.
I, for one, am probably staying home and keeping it low key. I have compiled a great list titled "Movies to Watch before The Clock Strikes 12" and my family and friends are going to each contribute something yummy to our dinner. I'm sure we'll also enjoy a dance party or two to our favorite throwback hits (hint: Wannabe). It's going to be great because we're not going to go broke and bored stiff.
So...
Maybe it's much too early in the game. Oh, but I thought I'd ask y'all just the same. What you doing New Year's...New Year's Eve?
